Captain's Log......
We spent the day in Ft. Lauderdale waiting for the winds to die down. We could not have planned a better place to stay!
Starbucks is in walking distance. We drank our coffee on the beach and lingered for a couple of hours.
It was very nice to have a day without an agenda and time schedule that had to be met!
The weather looks good for tomorrow so we are going to head out early, cruise thru Miami, cross Biscayne Bay, and then end up in Key Largo. Wed night we hope to be in Bahia Honda State Park, stay there a couple of nights, then Stock Island on Friday.

First Mate's Log....
Funny how life works itself out. Here our problem today was high winds preventing from our quest to Key West, and yet we spent an absolutely lovely day at the Bahia Mar Marina....well protected from the winds, exposed to lots of sun....it was nice to decompress after the past few days.
My photo gallery is entitled "What's in a Name?" there are some very interesting boat names. You can tell something about a person by the name of their boat....here are just a few.
