Getting ready - November 12th, 2011

Melissa and I are getting ready for our big adventure.  On November 12 we are loading up our van and driving to Wilmington N. C. to board our 40' Mainship Trawler renamed "Aye Sea No Snow".  After a few days of provisioning and repairs we will head south via the Intercoastal Waterway heading for Old Island Marina on Stock Island, the Florida Keys.

This was taken of the boat in the slip of the previous owner.  The boat was named "The Doghouse" when we purchased it.  I did not want to spend my winter in The Doghouse!

This picture was taken as the crew from Bennett Brothers Yachts was moving the boat over to the travel lift for a haul out for inspection prior to completing the purchase.

Everything looked good underneath!

Missy and I will be spending a considerable amount of time on the Sundeck!!!!
